What is a Digital parking space and how does it work?

A digital bike garage is a service that allows you to rent a secure parking space for your bike via a smartphone app. You can find and book an available perking space near you through the app and safely store your bike there.

How do I find an available bike garage near me?

The app displays a map with available bike garages in the vicinity. Zoom in as close as possible on the map to the desired location to correctly display all bike garages.

Why doesn't the bike garage open when I use the app?

Ensure you are at the correct location. Make sure you are in front of the right bike garage. Check if your device has an active network connection (mobile data or Wi-Fi). Ensure that the Bluetooth function on your device is activated, and hold your phone as close as possible to the door below the handle shell. Check if you have enabled the location function on your phone.

The app is not working properly, what can I do?

Close the app (including in the background) and restart it. Restart your smartphone and try again. If necessary, uninstall the app and download it again from the App Store.

How much does it cost to rent a bike locker?

There are various subscription and pricing models. Prices vary by location. The respective rates are displayed when you click on the desired location.

Do the tariffs renew automatically?

Yes, the tariffs are extended automatically. This means that if, for example, you choose a 24-hour tariff for $1 and park your bike for 26 hours, you will have to pay the booking interval of $2 twice.

Does the cyclist have to commit to a booking time in advance?

No, the system works on-demand. This means that the booking interval is automatically extended. For example, if the cyclist signs up for a 4-hour tariff because he thinks he will be back at the bicycle parking space after 3.5 hours, but for some reason is only back at the parking space after 5 hours, he does not have to worry because the booking interval is extended. He then only has to pay twice for the booking interval.

How do I pay for the use of the bike garage via the app?

Payment is made via the app by credit card. Alternatively, you can also load credit onto your wallet in the app by credit card and process the payment through it. Ensure that your credit card is valid and sufficiently funded.

How can I ensure that my booking was successful?

After starting the rental, you can view and end all ongoing bookings in the app menu under Account -> Active Bookings.

What can I do if the answers listed do not help me further?

In case of problems with the bike garage or a booking, you can call the service hotline or report your concern via the text field in the app to receive help and support.
