Who maintains the bike parking systems ?
Depending on the service package, Tandem.Mobility carries out annual maintenance. All access systems are tested, the batteries are replaced at regular intervals and the bike parking systems can be cleaned as an option.
Who maintains the equipment?
For every tandem.mobility program, we recruit, hire and train a part-time Field Service Technician local to your community. The Field Service Technician must live within 30 minutes drive of the install location to be eligible to work with us. (We pay our technicians well and have never not been able to find someone capable). The Field Service Technician will assist with install and will be responsible for ongoing maintenance. During the install process, our Launch Manager will train our local Field Technician on all aspects of the technology.
How often is the equipment inspected / maintained?
Usually once a year. If we receive an error message in the backend and cannot resolve it remotely, we will carry out a free service call to resolve the problem on site.
What is the battery length?
The battery has a service life of 1.5 years. The old battery is removed during maintenance via plug and play and a new battery is connected. The old battery is recharged so that it can be used again.
Who communicates with the user?
With the help of our customer support, where we are available 7 days a week, we can answer users' questions and provide immediate support.
Communication takes place via the Movatic app.
How does the city receive your money?
We can store the city's bank details in the appropriate system in our background system so that 50% of the revenue is immediately transferred to the city's desired account. The city and municipalities have no expenses.
